WHAT TO EXPECT AT Mt. Sinai AME Ministries
At Mt. Sinai you can expect good southern hospitality. When you visit, you will get a warm smile, firm friendly handshake, invitation to join our church family and be received with Christian love. When you join you will get much more. We will make sure you know what it means to trust Jesus Christ and be assured you are saved and going to heaven. You will also get a Christian friend to help you navigate through our church ministries and help you find your meaningful place God has ordained for you to serve. Our ministry team will make sure you learn what it means to be saved and committed to Jesus Christ and what it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We will also help you receive these gifts from Jesus Christ. You will further be taught the Word of God in every aspect of the church organization, as all ministries and activities are Christ and Word centered. Our motto on serving is: No Unemployed Volunteers!
FOR YOUTH
You can expect your children to be busy with youth-appropriate activities such as choir, dance, boy and girl scouts, usher ministry and lots of field trips. We also have a scholarship fund to support them educationally.
FOR YOUNG MEN
In an effort to try and deter young men from crime we pay close attention to them and keep them busy. We teach them consequences of criminal activity and associating with the wrong crowd. In the event they do find themselves behind bars, we meet them with non-judgemental prison ministry for reentering society.
FOR YOUNG LADIES
Despite the pressure to engage in pre-marital sex, young ladies can expect to be taught that they should remain abstinent until they are married. We believe the only way a man truly shows he loves a women is by asking for her hand in marriage.
FOR FAMILIES
Families can expect to receive relevant teaching on parenting, marriage and how to raise Christian children.
FOR ADULT PROFESSIONALS
Adult professionals can expect their time to be valued and their professional skills and talents to be appreciated and utilized for the upbuilding of God's Kingdom.
FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
Senior citizens can expect to be treated with patience, kindness, respect and as one who imparts wisdom from their years of experience. Seniors can expect to be active in ministies and not put out to pasture.
